For some of you the starting point for your learning may be to improve your reading, writing and maths. You may also want to know how to use a computer better. These skills are all key not just to work but to life too.
There are many learning centres in and around Doncaster that run free courses on literacy, numeracy and ICT, as these topics are sometimes called. The courses are often very flexible, allowing you to join throughout the year.
Skills for Life benefit you in so many ways:
- providing a stepping stone to other learning
- helping you get a better paid, more rewarding job
- building your self-esteem and confidence
