Money, or rather the lack of it, is always an issue with our learners. But learning may not be as expensive as you think.
Grants, bursaries (similar to a grant) or loans may be available to
contribute towards the costs, while some courses are completely free.
You may also be entitled to other sorts of financial assistance, such
as a student bus pass.
Although it may cost you money to learn, it will be worth it in the long run. Lots of studies have shown that the more you learn, the more you earn. Gaining qualifications and updating your skills makes you more attractive to employers and open up new career opportunities to you. And there are other benefits as well e.g. health.
Financial help is available from Doncaster’s local authority, central government, private organisations and charities.
