It is not possible to be definite about local labour market information – what jobs are hot and what are not. Trends are not easy to predict and even if some jobs are growing and others declining, this cannot be a guarantee that you will or will not get a job in that industry.
The best tack to take is to go for jobs that match your skills, qualifications, experience, interests, abilities… while at the same time being aware of any labour market information that exists.
As a general trend, employers are asking for more highly skilled people – these skills are not just the ‘technical’ skills for the job but also ‘soft’ skills such as communicating, team working and problem solving.
