Some of you may be nervous
about learning because you think you will find it difficult. Well,
there is no such thing as a poor learner.
We all learn in different ways. The important thing is to recognise
how you like to learn. You’ll find learning quicker, easier and more enjoyable if it suits your style. For example:
- are you a doer – someone who is keen to try out new experiences, acting first and thinking afterwards?
- are you an observer – gathering information, listening to views and weighing everything up before you act?
- are you a thinker – with a neat and tidy mind, who goes through things step by step, in logical fashion?
- are you a down-to-earther – a sensible, practical sort who needs to understand the point of any learning?
You’ll probably be a mix of more than one learning style. Why not work out what your own combination is. Try the links below or go to Your Way of Learning for help.
