Doncaster’s Adult, Family and Community Learning
Service organises free courses for people who do not
usually take part in learning.
You can do taster courses, from art to computers, at local learning centres throughout Doncaster to try out a subject or ease your way into learning. The service also runs family learning to help parents support their children’s education. There are also reading, writing and maths courses where parents and children can learn together.

Provides information on adult and community education.
Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council
Information on learning options available in Doncaster including the Adult, Family and Community Learning Service (AFCLS) which provides local learning activities for adults and families in communities in Doncaster.
Doncaster New Deal for Communities
A government funded regeneration programme which aims to improve education and increase employment in particular areas of Doncaster. The programme runs a number of education projects.
Workers’ Education Association
Runs part-time courses for adults in towns, villages and cities across England, in association with community organisations and trades unions.
UK Online Centres
Aims to provide everyone in the UK with access to computers near to where they live, as well as help and advice on using them.
